(d). Crom Rent at the rate of $120.00 per acre per annum calculated to the nearest even dollar to commence from the date mentioned in (c).

(e). A sum of not less than $150,000.00 to be spent on

buildings on the lot within 24 months from the date mentioned in (c).

(f). Except with the consent of the Governor-in-Council,

not more than 10 houses to be erected on the lot. (g). The lessee to form the whole area of the lot colour-

-ed red and the area coloured green to such levels as the Director of Public Works may approve and to his satisfaction within 12 months of the date mentioned in (c). The area coloured green to be banded over to the Government free of cost on

completion.

(h). The lessee to take such precautions as may be

necessary to prevent landslips in the event of his cutting away the hill to level the site. Should a landslip occur as the result of such cutting or levelling, the lessee will be held responsible for any damage resulting or brought about by auch landslips.

(j). The training of the stream-course on the North-

-Tast side of the lot will be carried out by

Government.

(k). The Government sewer will be extended to a point

adjacent to the lot: the lessee to defray the cost of connecting drains from the lot to the Government sewer, such connection being executed

by the Public Works Department.

(1). The lessee of the lot will not be allowed to erect

any buildings on the lot except houses of a

European type.
